The African Landscape of Primary Immunodeficiencies and Allergies – in the Era of Personalized Medicine
The 9th Biennial Congress of the African Society for Immunodeficiencies, was hosted by the Allergy Society of Kenya.
The primary goal of the Biennial ASID Congress; to provide an opportunity to exchange insights on the diagnosis and management of primary immunodeficiencies/inborn errors of immunity (including immune dysregulatory diseases), with a focus on the African context. The congress also highlighted the interconnectedness of clinical immunology to other medical disciplines, including allergy, rheumatology and infectious disease. The ultimate goal was to engage, educate and generate a collaborative network of clinical immunology physicians and scientists. The Congress included parallel sessions by INGID and IPOPI.
